A Google senior VP of product management, said “Clearly, this is the future of search in the Internet.” The most promising frontier for Internet Marketing is clearly in using SMS (Simple Messaging Service) technology. One feature being the ability to schedule and send bulk text messages. When you consider the fact that only 20 to 25% of email sent are opened and read, as compared to the over 90% open rate of TXT messages – marketing using text is a no-brainer. Mobile devices are changing the face of communication and marketing even in emerging markets around the world and the implications are profound. Over half of all new connections to the internet are from these new mobile phones. Customers are already expecting businesses to have a mobile website, that is website specially designed to display on mobile or tablet computers.
